BreakingEven is an all-level adult dance troupe of Albuquerque women who are passionate about movement, creativity, and connectivity.

Together, we push back against traditional, often narrow frameworks of what dance should look like and who dancers should be in every aspect of production conceptualization, our rehearsal process, and performances. As a grassroots troupe, we deemphasize perfection and precision, instead viewing dance as a means of creative outpouring, personal growth, and a way to deepen our connection to one another and to our Albuquerque communities.
