Such Unknown Horrors is an all-female reimagining of classic vampire lore, loosely inspired by Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Sheridan Le Fanu’s Carmilla. Blending original narration and choreography by Annmarie Garcia Sheahan, the production offers a bold feminist retelling of Dracula through multiple genres of dance.

Pushing back against traditional, narrow frameworks of what dance should look like and who dancers should be, we believe that dance should be accessible, engaging, and comfortable for everyone, no matter what their age, career, body type, ethnicity, athleticism, or identity might be.
As a troupe, we deemphasize perfection and precision, instead viewing dance as a means of creative outpouring, personal growth, and a way to deepen our connection to one another. Our goal is to share our love of dance with our friends and family from our living rooms, our backyards, our local parks, and beyond! Stay tuned for our upcoming projects.
