Our upcoming show Boundless is a collection of dance and vocal numbers exploring the elements of our lives that bind us and set us free, and was conceptualized from a lyric in one of our most beloved pieces, Mystery of Love.
For all of us at BreakingEven, dance is the art that sets us free, providing us with a space where we can powerfully express ourselves.

BreakingEven is an Albuquerque-based, all-level adult dance troupe made up of lifelong friends who are passionate about movement, creativity, and connectivity.
Pushing back against traditional, narrow frameworks of what dance should look like and who dancers should be, we believe that dance should be accessible, engaging, and comfortable for everyone, no matter what their age, career, body type, ethnicity, athleticism, or identity might be.
As a troupe, we deemphasize perfection and precision, instead viewing dance as a means of creative outpouring, personal growth, and a way to deepen our connection to one another. Our goal is to share our love of dance with our friends and family from our living rooms, our backyards, our local parks, and beyond! Stay tuned for our upcoming projects.
